Los Esteros beach and Tarqui

On its shores there are a variety of restaurants where you can choose between striking dishes of typical mantese food, the famous Fried Camotillo standing out among these. La Merced Church

Inaugurated in 1918, it is the oldest church in Manta and one of the most visited, its festivities are in the month of September and are celebrated with processions that involve the community.

La Dolorosa Cathedral

This building was built on the remains of the former La Dolorosa Church, which on September 22, 1996 was the exact point where a Million Air company Boeing 707 airplane that was transporting flowers and fish bound for the United States collided. 32 people died in the tragedy and 34 families were affected, in the four blocks affected at the time of impact.
